The KarChing Drivers Education App is a simple streamlined system that helps parents, students, and instructors seamlessly record required driving hours as mandated by respective state Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Both parties, parent and student, must have the app installed on their phone and be present in the vehicle together— it’s that simple.

How the KarChing Driver Education App works— automagically.
Upon acceleration, the app automagically starts recording the date, time, and duration of the drive all while utilizing a virtual map— without having to be activated.
After the completed drive, a telematics score is produced, reflecting the driver’s performance based on phone use, hard acceleration, hard braking, cornering, and speeding.
The drive log, showing progress toward the required total hours, is shown in a simple display in the app at all times.
Upon completing the required hours, the log can be easily exported to a PDF file and printed for parental sign-off within your respective state’s Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
